Explore Space in the Classroom

To inspire students to help invent the future of life in space, Club for the Future and our collaborators have created STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, and math) classroom activities and lessons for K-12 educators and parents.

Mission Bravo Oscar

In this standards based lesson, watch as students work in groups modeled after real-life mission teams at Blue Origin with a shared goal of a successful rocket launch.

Partner: Estes Education

Grade Levels: 5-11 / Age: 10-18

Mission Bravo Oscar 1-Day Mission

Engage students at summer camps and youth programs with a condensed Blue Origin STEM mission that can be completed in a single day!

Grade Levels: 5-11 / Age: 10-18

Rocket Ratios

In this standards based lesson, use a model of Blue Origin's New Shepard to teach your students critical skills like ratios, proportions, and scale drawings with this unit plan!

Partner: Estes Education

Grade Levels: 6-9 / Age: 11-14

Does Mass Matter?

In this lesson, students will answer the question, Does the mass of a model rocket affect the altitude, velocity and duration of the rocket’s flight? Your students are part of a group of engineers working for Rockets R US which has been contracted to build rockets that will carry the PocketLab Data Analyzer to astronauts on the International Space Station (ISS).
