Club for the Future, Crayola, and Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex Recognize 10 Creative Educators with Florida Space Coast Experience

Blue Origin's nonprofit, Club for the Future, along with Crayola and Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex, recognized 10 exceptional teachers from across the country on June 22-23, 2026. The recognition was part of a national campaign celebrating exceptional educators who ignite creativity and innovation, inspiring students to dream big and pursue opportunities in space-related careers.

The initiative is a collaboration in support of the annual Crayola Creativity Week, a global program that provides schools and families with inspiring content highlighting the transformative power of creativity. 

The 10 honored educators embarked on an unforgettable journey to Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex where they toured the facilities with representatives from Crayola and Club for the Future. They also received an exclusive tour of Blue Origin's Rocket Park. The immersive, VIP experience was designed to expand their knowledge and confidence in creatively teaching space-related topics, providing them with invaluable resources to inspire their students. 

"This year's award-winning educators are visionaries, launching the next generation of explorers and innovators through the power of creative thinking," said Heather Nelson, Director, Club for the Future. "We are honored to partner with Crayola and Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex to celebrate their incredible impact and provide an experience that will help them continue to inspire students to dream bigger." 

As part of their award, each educator’s school will also receive $1,000 in Crayola products to continue fostering creativity in the classroom.

The teachers were selected earlier this year during Crayola Creativity Week from a pool of nominees submitted by parents and community members nationwide. The free, virtual event is a cornerstone of Crayola's Campaign for Creativity, which champions creativity as an essential skill for preparing children for the future.
