Destination space: EverCurious Space and Club for the Future unite to bring space to life for students across the globe

EverCurious Space LLC and Blue Origin's Club for the Future have partnered up to help break down barriers to accessing space. Club for the Future's 'Postcards to Space' helps bring space to life. Students can design a postcard that will be launched to space and back on a New Shepard rocket, stamped "Flown to Space," and returned to them.

Students taking part in the EverCurious Space's SpaceWise Academy – which runs in international schools including in the UAE and Vietnam – will now get the chance to design their vision of the future in space on a special co-branded postcard which will be sent beyond the Kármán line. When the postcards return from space they will be returned to the students, giving them a personal reminder of the skills they learned during the SpaceWise Academy.

EverCurious Space is dedicated to teaching students about the wonder and opportunities that the space sector has to offer, as well as helping students develop the critical skills that they need to thrive in the space sector and beyond. Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths are essential subjects for the future, and the SpaceWise Academy seeks to spark a passion, ignite imaginations, and help all students see that they could have a bright future if they follow STEM subjects at university.

"When I was growing up in the UK, we didn't learn much about space, and it felt like something that only other people, or other countries could be involved in," says EverCurious Space co-founder Kate Arkless Gray. "We're delighted to partner with Club for the Future and can't wait to tell our students that they get to design something that will fly in space! It makes space more tangible, more real, and will open their eyes to a whole universe of possibilities."

Heather Nelson, the director of Club for the Future, expressed her excitement for the collaboration by stating, "We are honored to support EverCurious Space and are excited to fly students' artwork and their vision of the future into space. We hope that this marks the beginning of their journey in exploring space and pursuing careers in STEAM."
